The Monticello Community Historical Society is dedicated to the appreciation, preservation and celebration of the history and heritage of the Monticello Community, Johnson County, Kansas Monticello, Holliday, Cedar Crest, Virginia School, Wilder, Zarah and Craig, Chouteau , and Frisbie station, western Shawnee and Lenexa.

May 31, 2014 – Pancake Breakfast and Bake Sale, 8:00AM - 11:00AM
June 7 and 8, 2014 – Shawnee Days at Monticello cabin, Old Shawnee Town
August 9, 2014 – Field trip to Lydia’s Hair Museum, Rhineland restaurant and National Frontier Trails Museum, all in Independence, MO. 9:30AM – 3:30PM. Cost approx. $30
